Field services

The Field Services team delivers everything from basic home phone service to emerging technologies such as Bell Fibe TV, Internet and Wireless to the Home Internet across Canada. With innovative technology and leading edge management practices, our new grads get the opportunity to be part of a team that strives to achieve operational excellence and deliver the best customer experience in Canada.

Field Services recognizes the diverse skills and interests of grads, which is why it has three streams for new graduates to launch their career.

Grads master the art of driving business efficiency by leading cross-functional projects, using analytics to guide strategy and decision-making. In one of their rotations, they develop leadership skills by directly managing front line teams.
Operations Leadership
Grads develop their problem solving and decision-making skills while becoming experts leading front-line operational teams. Their rotations focus on using analytics and critical thinking skills to implement change across operations. Grads receive specialized leadership training and develop their skills by leading large operational teams.
Business Intelligence
Grads manage and optimize the largest data set in Canada to provide actionable insights to influence business decisions across the operations. The BI program is your opportunity to get customized, extensive training in all BI learning areas and partner with the team to transform our data to a big data and machine learning architecture.

What we are looking for

  • A university degree completed before the program start date and no earlier than two years before your application date
  • Curiosity, initiative, leadership and a passion for learning new skills
  • Solid analytical skills and a strategic mindset
  • Interest in driving change and taking on new challenges
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to leverage insights and opportunities from data and metrics to build strategies and make recommendations

Program structure
  • 1-month onboarding and training before starting role/rotation. BI grads receive analytics training, Hadoop, SQL and SAS.

  • General and Operations Leadership: 28-month rotational program with a permanent position after rotations.
  • Business Intelligence: Permanent position from day 1; option to “go and see” another part of Field Services for 4–6 months.
