Mariam's Story

Wherever I look at Bell, I see empowering teammates, strong leaders, and a community that inspires, supports and challenges me every day. An important principle that shapes me, that I am not willing to trade, is making an impact – and at Bell, every piece of work we do has a direct or an indirect impact on Canadians.

Always learning is key, and at Bell, there are many lessons to learn – you just need to raise your hand. I had the opportunity to rotate through different roles, including quality assurance, Scrum Master, and data, which allowed me to build new technical skills, learn new tools, and most importantly connect with many people and their stories. My recent favourite part of what I do is using network big data and manipulating the data to tell a story and help my team make the best decision for our customers. 

I have been in the Fibe TV space for over 4 years now, and I love the team I work with.  We all work toward one objective: Ensuring Canadians are entertained on the best TV service in Canada, Fibe TV. Being in a community where the sky is the limit really helps bring out more of you – it’s a community where curiosity and questions are seen as opportunities to learn and grow, and a community where having fun and being creative is valued.
